Encouraging women to grow in Christ while faithfully serving the next generation through discipleship and biblical leadership.
Amina Faz-Ver serves as Hope of a Nation's Women's Ministries Director in Mozambique, where she provides spiritual leadership, discipleship, and encouragement to women while also mentoring teenage girls. She is passionate about helping women grow in their faith and believes strong families and healthy communities begin with women who are firmly rooted in Christ.
For more than a decade, Amina has faithfully served in ministry, investing in the lives of women and young people through teaching, discipleship, and pastoral care. She began serving as a women's leader in her church in 2014 and was appointed to lead their women's ministry in 2016. Since 2018, she has also devoted herself to mentoring teenage girls, a ministry she continues today.
Alongside her late husband, Hope of a Nation co-founder Abel Faz-Ver, Amina helped plant and strengthen churches throughout Mozambique. Together, they opened their home to orphaned and vulnerable children, providing them with love, stability, and the care of a family. Following Abel's passing in 2026, Amina has continued serving with the same faithful commitment that has characterized her ministry for many years.
Amina completed her secondary education before graduating from Ramah Bible School in Beira, Mozambique, where she earned a diploma in Basic Ministerial Theology. Her biblical training, combined with years of hands-on ministry experience, has equipped her to disciple women, mentor young people, and encourage families through God's Word.
Today, Amina leads Hope of a Nation's Women's Ministries, encouraging women to deepen their relationship with Christ through biblical teaching, prayer, fellowship, and discipleship. She also continues investing in teenage girls, helping them develop a strong biblical foundation while preparing them to become godly women, wives, mothers, and leaders within their communities.
Whether teaching Scripture, praying with women facing difficult circumstances, or offering encouragement through everyday conversations, Amina seeks to reflect Christ's love with wisdom, humility, and grace.
Amina's greatest desire is to see women discover their identity in Christ and become faithful disciples who strengthen their families, churches, and communities. She believes that when women are firmly grounded in God's Word, they become powerful examples of faith for the next generation and instruments of lasting transformation.
