Imagine being forced to miss school every month simply because you lack basic sanitary supplies. This is the heartbreaking reality for many teenage girls at the Siloam Mountain Junior School & Orphanage in Uganda.
Every child deserves a future filled with hope, education, and security. But for the children at this orphanage and school in Uganda, financial hardships often stand in the way of a brighter tomorrow.
The Bible makes it clear that our Father cares greatly for widows and orphans. As his children, we are to plead their cause and supply for their needs. We have four orphans in Mozambique and their widowed caretaker who will soon be displaced and need a new home ASAP.
Teaching animal husbandry on our farm will involve not only chickens but also goats. In Mozambique, goat is the most popular meat after fish and chicken. We want to begin establishing a small goat herd which will be utilized for multiple purposes, including education.
