Meet The Team

Jason Collmorgen

Jason Collmorgen serves as the Executive Director and is a co-founder of Hope of a Nation. He and his wife, Susan, live in the Branson, Missouri area, where they lead the ministry's operations while also traveling internationally to serve alongside local leaders.

A Calling to Nations

From a young age, Jason was influenced by a heritage of faith and service, being the grandson of a Baptist minister. After serving in both the U.S. Marine Corps and the Missouri Army National Guard, and building a career in web development and information technology, Jason's life was radically transformed in 2009 when he and Susan traveled on a mission trip to India and Sri Lanka. Through that experience, God began awakening their hearts to His call to serve people around the world.

Following that calling, Jason and Susan graduated from Harvest School of Missions and began pursuing a life devoted to ministry. Together with their Mozambican brothers and sisters in Christ, they founded Hope of a Nation with a shared vision to disciple and empower leaders, strengthen communities, and share the hope of Jesus Christ.

Leading Hope of a Nation

As Executive Director, Jason provides leadership for the overall vision and direction of the ministry. He regularly travels overseas to minister alongside local leaders, provide oversight, and help equip others to carry the vision forward within their own communities.

He also oversees Hope of a Nation's website, technology systems, and digital infrastructure, using his background in technology and problem-solving to help advance the ministry's mission.

Building Sustainable Solutions

Jason's passion for developing sustainable solutions has led him to pursue training in areas that support the ministry's future initiatives, including earning certification in aquaponics. This knowledge contributes to Hope of a Nation's vision for agricultural development, skills training, and sustainable community impact.

His Passion

Jason is passionate about seeing people discipled, leaders equipped, and communities transformed through the power of the gospel.
