Susan Collmorgen serves as the Executive Co-Director and is a co-founder of Hope of a Nation. She and her husband, Jason, live in the Branson, Missouri area, where they lead the ministry's operations while also traveling internationally to serve alongside local leaders.
Susan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business with an emphasis in Human Resource Management and brings experience in administration, operations, and organizational leadership to her role within the ministry.
In 2009, Susan's life was radically transformed when she and Jason traveled on a mission trip to India and Sri Lanka. Through that experience, God began stirring a deeper calling in their hearts to serve others and devote their lives to missions. Following that calling, Jason and Susan graduated from Harvest School of Missions and began preparing for a lifetime of ministry.
Together with their Mozambican brothers and sisters in Christ, Jason and Susan founded Hope of a Nation with a shared vision to disciple and empower leaders, strengthen communities, and share the Gospel.
As Executive Co-Director, Susan helps oversee the daily operations of Hope of a Nation, including financial administration, communications, and media production. Through bookkeeping, storytelling, photography, videography, and digital content creation, she helps steward the ministry's resources and share the impact of what God is doing through Hope of a Nation.
Susan regularly travels overseas to serve alongside her husband and local leaders, building relationships, encouraging the team, and helping oversee the ongoing work of the ministry.
Susan is passionate about serving others, building meaningful relationships, and seeing lives transformed as people encounter the true hope found only in Jesus Christ.
