One of the greatest needs in a developing country like Mozambique is access to even the most basic medical care. Meeting this need is one of the many areas God laid on our hearts for this ministry.
One of our founding board members and Director of Medical Services, Dr. Vladimir John, shares this same passion to meet the medical needs of his people. He recently visited the U.S. along with other teammates to minister and share about the work we are doing in Mozambique. After an unanticipated delay in their return home due to Covid-19 lockdowns, they were all eager to return home to their people so that they could better serve their communities, especially during such an unpredictable time.
Shortly after completing his travel quarantine earlier this month, Dr. John, in cooperation with government authorities, held a medical outreach to help prevent the spread of Covid-19 and other chronic diseases. Over 150 people were attended to and masks, soap, antibiotics, and other medications were supplied to families in need.
We love the passion our teammates have for being the hands and feet of Jesus and meeting the needs of their people!
