The Chicken Layer Project is the next critical step in strengthening Hope of a Nation’s agricultural work in Mozambique. By producing fertilized eggs on-site, this project will complete the life-cycle of the poultry operation, reduce dependence on outside suppliers, and increase sustainable income to support ministry programs. Through wise stewardship and local training, this initiative will help secure a stable foundation for long-term ministry impact.
We are celebrating exciting milestones in Zambia and Mozambique as Muma completed her first university term, Maggie and Jose enter their final year of secondary school, and Nelson nears graduation from nursing school. In regions where education is often out of reach, these achievements reflect God’s faithfulness and the impact of generous partners equipping students with opportunity, resources, and hope for a brighter future.
Over the past year, God has steadily advanced Hope of a Nation’s hatchery project in Mozambique. What began as a vision for sustainability and training is now a functioning operation — generating income, creating opportunity, and strengthening the ministry’s foundation. With electricity brought to the farm, an incubator in place, and hundreds of chicks successfully hatched and sold, this project is already bearing fruit.
Two young men once raised in orphanhood are now serving Mozambique together with their wives as husband-and-wife medical teams through Hope of a Nation’s outreach. Trained as nurses through our education program, they now bring healing, dignity, and the love of Christ to rural communities, strengthening not only villages, but their own families as they minister side-by-side.
We are continually amazed and grateful for the incredible team that the Lord has brought together to serve through Hope of a Nation. Each member carries out their role with excellence, but more importantly, with hearts full of love for Jesus and a desire to share Him with others.

In a remote village in Mozambique, a routine medical visit turned into a powerful reminder of how faith, compassion, and access to care can change a life. This story is a glimpse into the quiet, meaningful impact of showing up where help is needed most.
